Printing on 'Canvas effect' paper

Have an Epson XP 6105 and CorelDraw Paintshoppro


Would like to print a picture on 'Canvas effect' paper. I did buy 5 sheets of the net.. but am disappointed with the results.

The printing is rather dull and without the clarity of the same pic being done on normal Glossy paper,

Are there any settings i need to change to get a better reproduction .or did i get incorrect paper

Any suggestions welcome

Seems about right to me - different papers give different results and the 'canvas' one is probably more absorbent, dulling colours and contrast.
