Hi There,
I want to try and get some large panaromic prints done with nice black frames. But the prices seem extortionate everywhere.
Does anyone have any recommendations for good quality (but not cheap rubbish) frame places?

I've used IKEA frames in the past but the glass is the main issue.
I now have the anti reflective glass for all pictures and it makes a huge difference but, obviously at a cost.

Yeah tried the Ikea frames but they just seemed to warp after a while and the glass wasn't great. Dont mind sucking up some cost, just looking for some recommendations :-)I've used IKEA frames in the past but the glass is the main issue.

Fair dos. The IKEA ones warped with me too.
FWIW, this is the place I use for mine but I'm sure most local framers will be similar.

I used frames.co.uk recently for a frame for a canvas painting. Roughly 1 metre x 80 cm. Cost about £110. Very happy with delivery & quality. This was a custom size - I think stock sizes are cheaper & quicker delivery.
They sent me a £5 voucher which I'm unlikely to use so if you do go with them, let me know and I'll post up the code.

Same here. Infinite choice limited only by your taste. The first one arrived with a chipped corner but they sent a replacement very quickly.I’ve used eframe plenty of times and always pleased for the price. Above a certain size you have to have plastic sheet instead of glass, but it looks fine to be honest once up on the wall - you’ll struggle to tell the difference between it and a standard thin glass.
For fancier stuff like a big profile wooden frame with slip insert for a painting we use a local framing place (so we can leave the picture there for framing), but if ordering a custom size frame for putting a print or photo into yourself the online places seem pretty good.
