December 2022 Photo Competition
Discussion
Thanks to all entrants last thread, lots of goodies in there.
With my picture from the November thread featuring a car with a blue livery with orange highlighting, we are going to go with complimentary colours for this months theme.
Now, we aren't going to be too strict with this, but the photo must mainly feature two complimentary colours, doesn't matter which is the main, and example of these can be seen below.
Colour saturation doesn't matter, you can go pale/light or saturated/dark, whatever fits your artistic vision. The actual subject is open, animate objects, inanimate objects, indoor/outdoor, go nuts! But remember the colours!
Rules as per usual:
The photos taken must be your own work and can be taken at anytime, but please do get out with your gear if you have safe opportunity etc.
The competition will run from the first to the last day of the month.
You can only submit one, and only one photo.
The winner from the previous month decides on the topic for the following month and judges it at the end of the month.
The winner should update the Photography Competition Photo Challenge Wiki
Entries and discussion on this single thread please.
All entrants acknowledge that they may indeed win and that their adherence to convention ensures everyone else's continued fun.
To start us off, here is one of mine from Otagi Nenbutsu-ji, Kyoto, Japan. The red of the lanterns with the green of the surrounding plant life. As mentioned earlier, it's not too strict, but make sure they're there!

One of my favourites for personal reasons, even if not the most exciting of photos;

One of my favourite shots from this year, and just noticed that it met the theme for this competition, so put in a late entry.
