I want to get this pic printed onto an enamel mug as ceramics do not have a long life in the workshop!

I have managed to 'paint out' the background but i need to give myself a bit of space on the right hand side so i can get the edge of the left hand buffer from a straight line to rounded

Any idea how i can get this done. In effect would like to get the image smaller within the limit of the frame to give me enough room to make the buffer round

Edit to add that just for reference I opened it in Photoshop and made the canvas bigger (extended it to give white on the left and right, and then just cloned a bit of the buffer, flipped it horizontally, and placed it to make a circle.

Then I tidied up a few bits and bobs.
