Made me feel all nostalgic to see it but amazingly, Boots in St Albans still stocks 120 HP5. I’m just not sure who is buying it?

Mostly students on photography courses I suspect. And there are those who like film just as audio boffs like vinyl.

One of my best friends is a professional photographer specialising in producing photographs for food packaging. He uses both digital and film - depending on the client - but says that film still gives the best results. In a way it reminds me of the old CD vs LP debate of the 1980's.

I doubt he buys his film in Boots though. smile

I was pretty sure that they still stocked 35mm B&W, but was surprised to see 120 roll film…tempted to dust down my old Bronica GS, think I might need to buy some fresh chemicals as they have been standing for about a decade….

Film photography is making a big comeback so maybe they've just started stocking it again. Kodak have only recently started to produce Gold 200 in 120 format again after 25 years.
