Troubleshoot Help Please - Rank Aldis 3000RF Slide Projector
Discussion
Everything except one aspect is working.
When the slide changer is worked manually, everything is correct.
When operated automatically, it changes the slide, but does not pause to allow viewing.
After very briefly displaying one slide, it immediately changes to the next slide and continues in that way.
Is it broken, or have I failed to set something correctly?
Thank you, if anyone can advise.
I found a manual for the plain 3000 version for £9.95... https://www.camera-manual.com/aldis-ltd-aldis-3000...
It may be that on 'auto' that's what it does, and you take your finger off when it gets to the right one...
But in the heady 1970's days of 'Come and see my holiday slides' you'd operate it manually whilst impressing your friends with the amazing things you'd done.

Thank you John.
I do have what is laughably called, the original Instruction Manual.
Hardly good value at that advertised price of £9.95.
Just a four page leaflet of hurriedly assembled information, with some numbered item diagrams, which are not even referred to in the text.
I guess there must be some sort of electronic control, telling the mechanism to just move one slide then stop.
My projector only stops after very briefly displaying about 10 slides in quick succession.
In todays digital world, an automated slide projector is of course an historic novelty, but I do try to keep such items in working order.
