Storing printed photos
Discussion
I'm about half way through the mammoth task of scanning our old photos.
They are in a variety of albums, photo development envelopes etc and even about 1000 in a shoe box.
In the main the ones in the photo envelopes have stayed flat and look fresh, the ones in albums have suffered some damage (glue, bends tears etc), and the once in the shoe box have all curled a bit from being stood on end.
I want to sort, label and repack them properly, so what's the best way to preserve them?
Given the photo envelopes have stood up well that was my first thought, but I really need to get hold of more for the ones in the shoe box!

Acid free paper. Stacked on end. Probably a few dessication tabs in there. They are in a variety of albums, photo development envelopes etc and even about 1000 in a shoe box.
