Which editor for GoPro clips?

I've been given a GoPro but am in need of some editing software to join clips and cut bits out.

Requirements:
PC based
Don't mind paying but prefer a one-off payment
No watermarks etc
No file size limits

I'm well into digital photo editing however video is new to me!

I've not used mine for some time, but GoPro have their own Studio software.

Was discontinued apparently but found it online -- seems to do the job

The reason GoPro dropped their platform was that it wasn't that good.

I'd suggest you try Davinci Resolve which is free and approaching pro-level in terms of capability.
