Evening guys!

I have a quick question. I’m after this lens and retail it’s around the £1000 mark everywhere except for on E-infinity where it’s like £300 cheaper! I’m sure it’s the same lens but just confused why it’s so cheap compared to anywhere else?

Not sure if I’m allowed to post links regarding products so please say if not and I’ll remove.

Cheers!

Import duties I would guess - I have bought from E-Infinity before and had no issues (YMMV of course)

Probably a grey import hence possibly warranty issues, but for that saving, why not?

E-finity are a grey importer. You won’t get the sigma warranty but you’ll get a warranty for 1 year backed by e-fin.

Lots of people use e-fin as they’re considerably more affordable than Uk retailers. Panamoz and Hdew are others

I always use HDEW when I can. I bought a Canon M5 off them. Two years later had an issue. Their 3 year warranty covered all the repair costs and the camera was returned to me within 14 days. There’s a lot of bad press about grey imports and ime they’re completely unfounded.

I used HDEW for my D500 body. Great service and price, but sadly they don't do Nikon any more.
