October 2020 Photo Competition - "Coronavirus"
Discussion
Well, seeing as it's the biggest thing to happen in years and has affected all our lives, this month's competition subject is "Coronavirus".
Hopefully it's a pretty wide remit with lots of possible subjects - could be people wearing masks, empty streets, sparsely populated restaurants, or even a photo of working from home. Basically anything linked to the current Covid-19 crisis.
If you've already got a photo taken recently then that's fine, or alternatively maybe you could go out and look for a good image during the month (observing social distancing obviously)!
Looking forward to what you come up with - good luck!
Rules:
The photos taken must be your own work and can be taken at anytime, but please only get out with your gear if you have safe opportunity etc.
The competition will run from the first to the last day of the month.
You can only submit one, and only one photo.
The winner from the previous month decides on the topic for the following month and judges it at the end of the month.
Entries and discussion on this single thread please.
All entrants acknowledge that they may indeed win and that their adherence to convention ensures everyone else's continued fun.
Photos entered can be as large as you like, although bear in mind if too large, it may not be possible to see the whole image on some screens. Links to larger versions are permissible.

One from a couple of months back when Bournemouth beach was in the news a lot! - summer staycations!
Not a hugely interesting pic on its own so I added a bit of a tilt shift effect!

Although it would have been good to see more entries, thanks to everyone who entered an image.
I liked the tilt/shift effect of the Bournemouth beach shot, and the factual shot of a deserted Glasgow airport.
The winner, however is the one from Burton_ii

Whilst being an interesting image in itself, it also highlights one of the results of Covid and the littering caused by irresponsible discarding of single use disposable masks.
Well done Burton_ii, and over to you for November's subject.
