i was fortunate to see a commorant grab a frog.
But to be abe to take images like you have is AMAZING!!

Fine work indeed. I see kingfishers along the river bank occasionally but they're just a blue flash, quite impossible to photograph.

I feel rather sorry for the frog.

Yes, that was news to me too.

The frog looks almost too big for the Kingfisher to swallow.

Thanks for your kind comments everyone.......i'm still buzzing 24 hrs later!

The Kingfisher did its best to find a way to consume it, but gave up in the end. - Sadly, 'Kermit' did not survive the 'bashing'!
