Hello.

I'm looking for trail camera recommendations.

I recently bought a TOGUARD Upgraded Wildlife Camera to capture photos and video of the various creatures that visit our garden overnight.

It's not a bad piece of kit. The photos are excellent, infra red video is sharp and you can use the camera's built in wi-fi and bluetooth connections to download images directly to a phone, via an app.

However, it has one fatal and IMO inexcusable flaw. The video reaction time AT ITS QUICKEST SETTING is ten long seconds from the sensor picking up movement to activation. So, video recordings usually only film creatures as they leave the field of view. Often, the animal has left the scene before the recording begins. This defeats the whole object of the exercise. frown

Does anyone know of a piece of kit that triggers video recording either as soon as it picks up movement, or at least one that's far quicker than ten seconds? One that is wifi/bluetooth equipped would be a plus too.

Budget <£100 but I could be open to having my arm twisted for something really excellent. smile

Thank you.

That's ridiculous. How am I supposed to break into your house in under 10 seconds!?

You wouldn't get past the anti-personnel mines.
