just ordered one. Quick question if anyone has one. Does it save the pictures or video to the drone or to your phone. Do you have to use the onboard sd card slot?

Mavic Pro 2 has 8Gb internal storage plus SD card slot, the original Mavic Pro is SD card only. as said above both save the previews to your phone/tablet

Great bit of kit. Look upon it as a flying camera more than a drone!

Bit of hidden advice (well, I stumbled across it by accident) - if you intend to shoot video using the full beans mode, you should download the DJi d-log LUT, It's free on their site and plugs into all the usual NLEs. Makes a world of difference. And you'll also need some ND filters.

Ok thanks for that. And do you access your pictures /video etc by taking the card out or via the dji app on the phone? Looking forward to using it.

You can take the card out if you wish and plug into a smart card slot on your computer or just connect your computer and drone with the supplied USB cable.
