For about the last 6 years I have been taking pictures of the Tideway - technically the whole of the tidal Thames below Teddington Lock, though in my case the vast majority have been taken in the area above Putney Bridge as that as where we mostly row.

On the 24th March rowing of all sorts was stopped and from that day I have posted a daily picture from my photo stream to Twitter, today being the 48th in the series. I haven't wholly limited myself to the Tideway but, so far at least they have had some connection to the rowing world and the vast majority have been of the Tideway.

I have consolidated them all onto a webpage and when I see them together like this I'm reasonably pleased with them. They have been taken with a variety of cameras: often my phone (iPhone 6 or 8), sometimes a Canon S120 compact and very occasionally a Fuji mirrorless (X-T10 or 20). Almost all of them are just "snaps" taken as I'm out and about or on my way to or from work.

The page is here: http://www.tertius.me.uk/pages/TidewayPicturesDayo...

The captions show the date posted and the text that went with the twitter post which should give a little background.

A couple of my favourites are:

Posted 27 March. Looking down Corney Reach towards Chiswick Pier with Barnes Bridge behind and a stroke of luck with the gull perfectly positioned ...

Posted 2 April. Looking down Crabtree Reach towards Putney, Hammersmith Bridge behind me and the sun glinting on Harrods Depository on the right.

Posted 18 April. Continuing the sunsets theme, another of the evening light over Chiswick echoed beautifully in the Thames, taken from Lower Mall by @akrowing and @FurnivallSC
