So , always loved instant film photography, probably as my parents had one and got a 600 model for Christmas one year in the 80s.

Fast forward to a few years ago reading that Polaroid were basically fubar and stopping production of instant film.

Full story here. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polaroid_Originals

This sparked a interest again then which continues to this day ( although i am currently pruning down the amount of cameras , accessories and vintage film packs).

I bought a Polaroid Sun 600 from eBay for £30. Wasn't boxed but it was like new. So I've been using that. I'd use it more but £18 per back for 8 photos (which is what you get now) gets expensive quite quickly. There is a modification you can do on these Polaroid cameras where you wire up an external battery to the camera, allowing you to use iType film. Which is a few quid cheaper.

Yeh it’s not a cheap hobby , makes you really think about your shots !

Have you tried a sx70? Much more money , but really good sharp images.

I had a Fujifilm Instax which broke, that was £100 and great images and also much cheaper to buy film for.

As for the SX70, no. It's something I was in the market for but got the Sun600 instead. Never had a Polaroid in my life before the Sun600, although later this year I might look for an SX70.
