Any Mavic Mini owners here?
Discussion
Not sure which part of the forum to put this thread. But why not here..
Thinking to pull the trigger on one of these? Have been after something capable of proper video for a long time. No particular use specifically, just for fun. Although will probably use at Land Rover trials events, green laning and when out and about in the countryside.
I like the small size, the flight time and general spec. I know it is only 2.7k vid, but that is fine. The only thing I really wished it had was a proper follow me mode. Which would be super handy when laning for example or following a vehicle round a trials section.
Any reasons I should be avoiding the Mavic or anything else even worth considering?
The video quality and stabilisation on the Mavic just seem to be ace compared to most other cheaper options I've seen.

I have found my Mini to be perfect for the reasons I bought it - small, extremely portable, good video for its size and less than 250g (bypassing some of those stupid rules that have been bought in concerning drones.)
If a follow me mode is really important for you, then you may become frustrated with it not being available on the Mini, or if you feel that you may want to fly in higher wind conditions, then the Mini may not be for you. Otherwise, it's a great little drone, if you can accept its limitations.
