March Photo competition - 'Lines'
Discussion
OK everyone, the March competition is around the theme of "Lines".
Lines are around us everywhere - lines on buildings and architecture, lines in nature, railway lines, vapour trails in the sky....whatever you can think of as a subject as long as it has something to tie in with the subject of 'lines' in the image
To kick the competition off, and to give you a flavour of what I am looking for I have attached a photo taken at Le Mans back in 2016 of the start/finish line.....
Usual rules apply (outlined below)
Good luck everyone!
Rules:
The photos taken must be your own work and can be taken at anytime, but please get out with your gear if you have time.
The competition will run from the first to the last day of the month.
you can only submit one, and only one, photo.
The winner from the previous month decides on the topic for the following month and judges it at the end of the month.
Entries and discussion on this single thread, please.
All entrants acknowledge that they may indeed win and that their adherence to convention ensures everyone else's continued fun.
Photos entered can be as large as you like, although bear in mind if too large, it may not be possible to see the whole image on some screens. Links to larger versions are permissible.

Keep missing these due to forgetfulness and indolence so will get in early this month!

Isolated escape from the cabin fever today for some drone pics on my Dji Mavic Pro 2. LIving in Glasgow the weather has been pretty poor up until a couple of days ago.
Lines and curves and light all going on here.
South Glasgow, old A77 next to new M77 near Eastwood Golf Course junction.
Some ace images this month, impressed by the PH skillzzz
Cheers,
Dougie.

well then, in a world that has changed a little since the start of March its time to judge the entries for
last months competition - some great entries from all and a tough decision on this one.
in 3rd place i have put Mikes image of the queensferry bridge - some strong lines in here and great lighting.

in 2nd place its the great image of looking down into the dome at the Riechstag in Berlin, so many different lines on show

But my pick of the entries was this image from rsthomas9 of the underground station, just perfect
