I've got a decent Canon + good glass sitting around gathering dust, as often I cant be fagged taking the card out, transferring, uploading to Google, preferring the ease of my Oppo phone.
But.. do any of the current crop of cameras allow direct upload to a Google account?

I don't know about direct, but most now have built in wifi to transfer to your phone. I use it occasionally for uploading a quickie to farcebook/adstagram etc, but for a big batch of photos or anything I plan to edit properly I find its quicker and simpler to pop the card into the PC.

Wasn't the Samsung NX Galaxy the one that made this sort of shoot+upload thing easy?

Very cool-looking camera - the whole back is a touch-screen phone screen. Complete sales disaster, though.

Yes! I was looking at one of those on ebay, but they've held their value really well and I dont want to spend £1K ish (inc a lens) on a 5 year old camera. There is/was rumor that NX2 was coming out.

Found a site that had a 3rd party app for Sony alpha range, but without knowing if it works reliably it's an expensive gamble
