Looking for a camera for track days and wondered if anyone else has tried the above and if they feel it’s the one to have? What is the best bundle and brackets etc, cage mount?

I am not that techie, just want a camera to put in the car and watch it back with relative ease etc. Seems a minefield out there.

I have used a Hero 4 for some of my vids. As my car is open top, an external mic was a good addition to reduce wind noise.

I expect the 8 will be plenty good enough.
