I'm after some camera advice. In addition to petrol head related interests one of my other hobbies is that I Stage Manage amateur shows. I'm want to set up a couple of small bullet cameras so I can see what's going on from my position back stage feeding a normal TV.

However, when looking at cameras most say it will not feed a normal TV. So can someone recommend a camera or tell me what I need specification wise.

Obviously budget is tight as it's all voluntary I'm probably going to finance this myself. IR would be handy as I can then see what's going on during scene changes etc. Doesn't need to be wireless as dozens of wires are already being run and a lot of small theatres suffer from radio signal black spots.

Sorry for the long winded request of any more info is needed please just ask

Wouldn't this be more of a CCTV/security thing than broadcast quality? Lots of kits on Amazon etc.

Yes very much a CCTV thing but when I looked on Amazon/Ebay the ones I saw said not for direct use to a TV. Just wondered if there was a certain specification detail I could look out for

I'm no CCTV expert but the systems can come with their own monitors.

I have one with 4 cameras and a single monitor divided into 4. Bluetooth, with IR.

If your hall has wi fi - you could put an IP CCTV camera up and watch on your phone?
