.....with only a 70/200 2.8 and 1.7 tc Im always struggling at Silverstone....
Not the greatest you'll see, but enjoyed the weekend and the sunshine....

Nice photos mate. Here are some of mine from yesterdays warm up session at Village. Unfortunately I had a honking great chain linked fence in front of me so my photos are spoiled slightly by it.
All shot on a Fuji XT100 with a 70-200mm.
Just a question, were you in a grandstand or are you an expert in blurring out fences in your shots? I only ask as this was my first time trying to shoot motorsport and any tips I would be most grateful.

Cheers,Im no expert, but have been trying to shoot bikes at Silverstone for donkeys.....
Its a combination of getting as close as poss to the fence (ie, inside the outer barrier) and as big an aperture as possible plus lots of pp.....
All mine were shot from spectator areas with no special access.....
