For various (semi-professional) reasons I'm looking to boost the number of followers I have on Instagram.

I realise that I can throw some money at it (and willing to spend some) but prefer the organic growth route.

My two main genres are Motor Sport and Travel. Insta tends to be weighted to Motor Sport (read somewhere that is better to focus on one genre - is that right?). I try to be selective on the hash tagging. And importantly, the content is - I think - quite good and certainly better than many others that have many more followers.

So any tips or advice on how to boost followers?

Buy them, IMO organic growth is a thing of the past.

Treat it like you would treat Tindr. No one is selective in who they swipe right on. They'll swipe every single one and wait for a match. You could use every single hashtag relevant to your photo.

Then you can either buy the followers, or you can interact with the organic ones you've acquired. Up to you, but only one of these comes back with a proper long term result worth something.

I wouldn't stick to just instagram. get snapchat and get facebook. whatever you post do it all at once and/or share one thing between platforms. people will then watch/follow/like you on whatever platform they prefer to see you on.

Seems to me the way forward is to follow loads of people yourself, wait for the follow back, then unfollow so as not to clog your tl.

Works particularly well if you're an attractive female.

I agree that organic growth takes a lot of time and effort and doesn't always give good results. But if you want to buy followers, you need to use a reliable service so that Instagram doesn't block your account. So I decided to find a good service that provides likes and followers. I also heard that this can be dangerous and if you get low-quality services, your page may be blocked. Thus I wrote in the search bar how to buy Instagram likes and got several results. Then I read the reviews and chose a service that received a lot of positive feedback from Instagram users. I recommend you do the same.
