Problem importing Canon 5Dmk4 CR2 files in Lightroom Classic

I can't seem to import the raw files from my camera into Lightroom Classic any more. The files are definitley on the card and show up to import into Lightroom CC but I don't use that.

My LR Classic is up to date, version 8.3.1. It didn't work copying them to my hard drive first, then trying to import from the folder. They show up for Photoshop, it's just LR Classic.

Anyone else had this or know what to do?

Got it sorted, had to reset preferences but it did the job, just in case anyone else has the same issue.
