Afternoon all,

I've just purchased a Canon M50 which I'm really pleased with, and am in the process of selling off a bunch of my EF kit.

One lens I'm pretty sure I'll keep with an adapter is my 28mm f1.8, as this has been pretty much my default lens on my 7D, but I noticed that they do a 28mm Macro for EF-M. This got me wondering... What is the point in it? I've got an EF 100mm f2.8 Macro which I really like, along with a ring flash for it, and it's one of the lenses I was certainly thinking of keeping, albeit the lens and flash are massive compared to the body! Thing is, I often find it hard enough to get close to insects with the 100mm focal length, so what chance would I actually have with the 28mm? confused

On a second point, I'm slightly frustrated that nobody does a lens longer than 200mm for the M series yet. I've got a Canon 70-300mm IS which works fine, but again, having a fairly large lens like that rather defeats the point of getting the smaller system. I've ordered a 55-200mm EF-M lens to try out anyway, but was wondering on people's thoughts on it? I'm most likely to use it for things like air displays, so thinking that with the resolution of the body, I might well be able to get away with cropping the 200mm shots? I'm most likely to print them out on A2 or A1 canvases.
