Flickr alternative

Iv done a search for this as I’m sure it’s been covered before but the search results throws up hundreds of random topics.
I’m looking for an alternative to Flickr now that I’m being limited to 1000 photos.
Is there another free site to use or is payment for then now required.

I think most of the sites have or will be limiting the number of images that can be hosted for free. If you have genuine need to post more than a 1,000 photos, I guess the thinking is that you’re likely to be a professional so should pay a contribution towards the service.

That said I'd also be interested to know if there are alternatives.

link.photo is my new go to place, image size is limited but quantity isn't (I believe), all the sharing options you could hope for and best of all it's run by a PH tog.
