Camera phone images don't display full size question
Discussion
Hi all,
I sometimes use my camera phone to take pictures of things I'm selling,
When uploaded to the likes of Ebay, they usually end up with a large white border around them and do not fill up the image box.
If I use a proper digital camera, I do not have this issue.
Is there a way to get the camera phone images to display as per digital camera?
Cheers

Your phone images are typically 16x9 ratio (widescreen-ish)
Your proper camera will typically be 4x3 ratio (or old school TV)
Ebay will be expecting to be presenting 4x3 ratio images. When they receive a 16x9 photo, they'll pad it out with a border to make a 4x3 ratio image.
You can either:
1) Crop your image (not resize as that preserves the 16x9 ratio)
2) Set your phone to shoot 4x3 images and not 16x9 when taking photos for ebay.
