I've checked my travel insurance and it won't cover my new A6500 and lenses, home insurance won't cover that value without paying extra so I'm thinking of getting a dedicated policy.

Can anyone recommend any insurers?

From the little I’ve heard, dedicated policies are more expensive than add-ons to home insurance, and are quite restrictive over how equipment is used and stored in order to be covered.

I might be out of date now!

I pay monthly for my gear with E&L insurance, covers me for UK & Worldwide, do not know if it will be worth it and hoping I wont need to use it, but has a little more comfort knowing I have dedicated something towards my equipment.

I have a Canon 60d / 5d - and an arsenal of lenses covered for less than £6 per month.
