I have just acquired. Idea of really old photos from my late mums house. I am talking from the 1930s. Mostly family snaps but for us have loads of significance.
I want to be able to make them available to the whole family world wide..... scanning and uploading through a photo store app or web site builder.

What does one recommend? Flickr? Any others?

Probably needs to be free and no ads if possible. There are loads of photos..... I would say possibly 1000s ..... so long term project yes but would be worthwhile.

TIA

Flickr is the most popular but you now only get 1000 pics for free - I also use 500px but it limits its free users even more (7 pics per week I think)

Google photos, unlimited free storage as long as < 16Mb

Obviously you'll have to scan them 1st.

Flickr seemed excellent but the 1000 photos wil be limiting.
Google photos is my way ahead.... and everyone can get the app. Although we have found it uses lots of phone memory!!
But it is easy to use and can be just as efficient on the pc!
