Yes. The fixing between camera and tripod mount is common across all makes.

Buy a remote shutter release as well. That's not a sturdy tripod by the looks of it so pressing the shutter with your finger will be no better than holding the thing in your hand.

Thanks, it is only a small setup so and the camera seems to be taking good enough pictures

What the above poster is saying though, is when on the tripod even the act of pressing the shutter button can cause a vibration and lead to camera shake or lack of sharpness.

If you set your camera to 'self timer' and just do a 2 second timer, then you press the shutter, it leaves two seconds for any movement to settle and then fires the shutter, often resulting in a sharper image.
