Filters on RX100 series?
Discussion
OK, I got the RX100 ii as a replacement for a point-n-shoot camera to keep in a pocket when out and about. So far, so good. Very good, in fact (I gave up a super-zoom, but gained in every other way.)
But it's so capable that I'm looking to get a bit more creative with it. A few ND filters would be useful for long daytime exposures. Which means adding a filter ring to the lens. Seems the only solution is a rather kludgy looking adhesive adapter.
Has anyone tried these? Reliable? Removeable?

I had a magnet one on my rx100 iv, so I could pop a polariser on for landscapes.
Ultra thin magnet ring sticks around the lens, the the filter holder magnets on and off when you need it.
It was fairly strong- took 46mm screw on filters I think. You could knock it off as it’s only held in place by magentism, but it did the job quite well, and a clever idea. The magnet ring left on camera was very low profile and didn’t get in the way at all
