https://nikonrumors.com/2018/12/04/nikon-d760-rumo...

I have a D610 (surprised to read there that it currently sells for more than a D750), wonder if the D760 release will lead to plenty of inexpensive used D750 bodies on the market. And if so, is it worth the upgrade...

£3200 is a lot of wedge though, too rich for my blood, as they say.

People told me that the price of used non mirrorless bodies would tumble in light of product launches from Canon and Nikon. I've not seen any dramatic drops of the cameras that I'm interested in.

I have a lowly 3100 and I've used my BIL's 810. Night and day in quality 😁

D750's were down to £900 new with some importers earlier this year. Yes, they're a couple of years old now, but that is a phenomenal deal for a camera so capable. Until the D850 came along, they were probably Nikon's best 'all-rounder' bar none. Though the D850 probably holds that crown now, it is hard to really compare the two when you could by two D750's and a nice lens for the price of D850.

That said, I'm a picky bugger and since I do long exposures a lot, the lack of a built in VF cover on the D750 pushed me to buy a D800 instead. The D800 has many advantages but the AF and general speed of operation is ste compared to the D750.

Wonder what sort of price point we'd expect to see a D760 come in at?

I just picked up a (1 year old) s/h D750 for £830 with only 3k shutter count. Seemed really good value to me!?
Just looked at prices of D850's and still at around £2k+ – definitely not in my budget.
