Canon 6D mk2 question re video control via wifi

I'm considering one of these cameras for shooting video, I only need HD. My question is about controlling the camera from a tablet using the Canon app. I've researched on Canon.com, Google and YouTube and still can't see if it's possible to see the video on the tablet that is being shot. On my other Canon cameras the wifi doesn't work when the camera is set to video.

I'm not sure how similar the 6D2 is, but my 5D4 can shoot video from the app – you can see the live view and control the camera, but you cannot transfer or save the videos to the app. They are only saved on the camera.

Thanks, that's valuable information which contradicts what I've read elsewhere, even what was said by an (apparent) Canon employee. I can clearly see the movie icon on YouTube videos of the app which is why I've pursued this despite advice to the contrary.

Reviewers have knocked the 6D2 for video capabilities but I find it more than ample, and the fact it works via wifi / app is a revelation having gone on from a 70D. Flip-screen goodness for the win!
