Building a Youtube studio...
Discussion
So as part of my expansion plans, I'm going to put together a Youtube studio in my spare room (which is mostly rammed full of junk so will be a good excuse for a clear out!!)
It'll be for 3 uses:
- Product reviews
- Interviews
- Live webcasts
Has anyone else put one of these together? Looking for inspiration!
I have all the video/lighting/broadcast kit that I need so its just the studio space.
The room is approx 3m square so think I should be able to slip in 2 distinct areas, review table/desk and an interview sofa/coffee table

If you've got the lighting aready, surely you just need to make the back half of the room look how you want it. Painted wall, furniture as required, pot plant/anglepoise for interest?
Leave plenty of distance for the camera as wide angle looks horrible. 3x3m isn't big to film much!
If you're an audio boff you may want to add some foam/eggboxes out of sight.
(edited to replace 'rook' with 'room', in case the OP was out looking for crows)
