hello folks i have a sony A6000 and mainly use the sigma 30mm 1.4 lens. I have 2 weeks in scotland coming up NC 500 and skye and then 3 weeks in Colorado, wyoming, south dakota, idaho, montana, doing yellowstone, badlands etc so a big mix of vistas, streets and wildlife hopefully.

pretty much decided on sigma mc-11 and sigma 150-600 C for the long stuff.
but wondering if i should invest in a smaller zoom or some other primes

open to all input

Sounds like you don’t have anything at the wide end- which might be useful for landscapes or street photography

There’s a Sony 20mm f2.8 pancake lens that might be an interesting option. Great for street photography, makes the camera so small and portable. 20mm is about wide enough for landscape photography too. At f2.8, could also be good for low light work, such as astrophotography too.

... theres a sigma 19/2.8 thats supposed to be good! (and cheap)

edit - the 30/1.4 is a pretty good lens for general walkabout however.... maybe look at one of the samyang ultra wide manual lenses ?
