Aerial desert footage

Myself and a friend are working on an epic home movie in the style of 'Airplane!'. We're looking for aerial footage to incorporate in the cockpit scenes, specifically desert views. Unfortunately all roads seem to lead to Shutterstock and a cost. Since this is a fun no-budget non-profit non-commercial project we try to avoid costs if at all possible; £40-50 a lump is not tenable..

Can anyone recommend places where we might obtain suitable HD footage?
