So whilst I was waiting for the gf to explore the most boring shop in a mall ( Sephora , make up stuff )I took a walk and stumbled upon a Peter Lik gallery ( I am in Texas on vacation))
At first I was blown away by the images, but then being a little more skeptical, I couldn’t help but think maybe they were over saturated in colour , and questionsed how much of the impact was the fact they where printed so large.
Some really where superb though.
No denying the equipment quality either, no grain what so ever, almost made me think about buying a large format and panoramic cameras, until I remembered I wasn’t that good and I don’t have that kind of money!
Still, it must be good for photography, he is looking to open several more galleries and has sold a 1 million usd photograph and reputed to have also sold a 6 million USD one as well, in the world of cheap snap chat photography, perhaps quality images can still be respected
( boring post , written whilst still waiting for gf to emerge from Sephora !)

All the pictures I looked at on the link appeared to be highly processed, as if the original photograph was just the starting point.

Basically the guy is selling wall art and he's obviously got the marketing side of it sorted.

I'm not much into landscape photography myself but it does seem to me that the main thing is getting your camera to where (and when) the scenery is.
