Hi Guys

I have borrowed a go Pro hero 5 off a friend of mine but I need to buy a memory card. What is a good size? Will be videos and pictures that I will dump on a laptop each night.

The frame is broken though so I only have use of the water proof case. Does this still detect sound? I'd rather not buy a new frame protector for it. Is image quality affected?

One assumes this will mount on the waterproof case ok?

Thanks for your help.

Hi Scott.

64gb should be more than adequate but like all these things depends what you are planning to use it for and what quality you are intending to shoot at (e.g. 1080p vs 4k). Just make sure it has fast write speeds if you're shooting 4k etc.

Waterproof case does detect sound but is of a more muffled/reduced quality than without the case.

Image quality won't be compromised with the waterproof case - just make sure its clean.

Good luck !

Thank you Sir.

I have opted for 32gb Sandisk extreme card and this for wandering around.
