A friend asked me what camera I'd recommend for his son. The brief is a simple point and shoot compact camera that's simple to use and easily transfer pictures to his Ipad, either using bluetooth or cable. Budget is £150-£200.
Shoot!

I just put a similar thread up. Going by no replies since 27th Sept for you, I am starting to think I am asking in the wrong place.

! :-)

Did you come up with a good opinion through another route?

I think people on here simply don't know about the simple cameras in that price range - the compact camera most recommended is the RX100 that starts at about £500, then people are using the mirrorless and SLR cameras.
All 'we' could do is Google stuff but I'm sure you can do that yourself!

Thanks Nige. I think I came into the Supercar area and asked about tyres for my Yugo :-).

Appreciated the response either way.

I bought my 11 year old one of these: http://www.panasonic.com/uk/consumer/cameras-camco... as it’s shockproof and waterproof. Works ok, better than a phone & cost just over £100.
