I've had the pleasure of using and owning quite a few cameras over the years, and funnily enough, the most fun camera for me is the Fujifilm Instax Mini 90!

Hear me out; it's usually used socially, so you're having fun anyway, it's a challenge to make art with and every single picture is unique. The batteries even last a long time!

Other cameras which I love are:
Bronica SQ-A - feels special
Nikon FM2n - Best overall camera
Olympus Pen F (original) and Pentax K1000 - Best haptics

Digital cameras are better, of course, but I connect better with film cameras.

Got to say I love using the cameras on decent mobile phones. Great image quality in all sorts of conditions and so easy to share, which is the whole idea I think.

Phones are the most convenient, for sure, but there's something about the Fuji X-Pro 2. Mmmmmm

Ooh, new word I had to look up - 'haptics'!

How did we manage before?

My most fun is Fuji W3 3D
Can’t get the pics on paper any longer, but a good 3D display on the camera & have a 3D TV
I got from Amazon when they were being sold off for £75 4 or 5 years ago I guess. Sell for £250+ on Ebay now!

Any Fuji X100 series camera, great fun to use with the exposure triangle on the outside! Very rewarding....

Sony RX100 iv.
Awesome camera.
Small, so easy to have at hand.
Slow-mo, movie recording, apps for HDR, timelapse, and many other things.

Fuji xf1 - £120 worth of tiny sensor crap but fun
X100t. Loved it..gone whilst funds recover
Rx100 ? Nope - too small and fiddly despite the output. Great IQ but not a fun camera

I was playing with one of those at the shop - to my surprise, you can get some nice shallow depth of field if you're fairly close to your subject - wasn't expecting that!

I think Fujifilm are the new Leica. I've played with Leica before, but never owned one. Maybe I'll ebay an M6 next year..

I frequently have to adduce mobile phone footage as evidence and, frankly, the vertical format with blurred out sides drives me insane - I don't want to see the sky and the road.
