Game over.Could shorten the challenge guidance a bit and drop the first word .... although I suppose in fairness the shot would still qualify.
Still, at least Rob has probably saved a few people several hours of effort this month .....

Much as I like that take on your subject of the two my personal preference would greatly favour this month's offering. Or at least it does this month, if you see what I mean.
Not that I would wish to influence the jury even if that were likely to be possible. Simply that there is something very satisfying, to my eyes, about the colours for this month's entry.

Thanks, printed this one for a friend recently as a phd present (A3+, cotton rag) came out amazing, think I prefer it to the other.LongQ said:

As the previous month's winner I was both Judge and Jury. As was pointed out by another 'expert' who, like you, didn't enter the contest either, the subject was Tree/Trees not a landscape which happens to also have a small tree in it. The landscape (Rob's entry) was stunning but did not comply with my interpretation and as it was my decision the outcome was the correct one and no-one was 'robbed'.
You could enter the competition, win and you can then be Judge and Jury but don't complain if some 'expert' makes an accusation that you have probably robbed another entrant when you make your decision.
I will enter this month's contest and will respect Paul's decision and will not accuse him of robbing anyone else, will you be entering?
No smileys on this as I take a dim view of such accusations when you obviously had not viewed the contest entries before making such a remark.
