I am trying to put together a group of charactors to satirise a couple of work collegues, just a bit of light-hearted banter in the office. One of the images is Penelopy Pitstop but the only image I can find that fits has a white background and I would really like to make it transparent. I have done a searchand this would seem to be possible but only with some decent software that I don't have. Does anyone have a spare couple of minutes and the ability to do this for me?

The image I would like to use is the cartoon of Penelopy used in a Daily Wail article here:

Many thanks,

I tried that but the bit of paper kept getting stuck and creasing when I pushed it into the slot on the PC! wink

What software are you using to construct the final image? It'd probably be easier to tell you how to remove the background than to send you a file that supports transparency.

I'm just creating a montage in Publisher, nothing grand or complex just 3 images placed ontop of a background with some text. The other 2 images have transparent backgrounds already it's just this one that has a white background.
