I feel like those were posted by Will

So to repeat myself:

You need to work on
- composition/cropping
- distractions in the photos
- overblown highlights
- general softness


SLR looks so mean

1. The grey bit at the top is quite distracting.
4. I'm drawn to the hole behind the car. Not the car.
(I like the digger hanging perilously over the car though.)

Just to add, I'm learning myself.

Picture No.4 is a disgrace !!,the autolube on that machines needs to be checked as those bucket pins are looking a bit dry of grease and the cutting edge needs to be turned to save wearing our the bucket lip,other than that its a very nice shot.

As Rottie says -

Plus specifically -
Needs more "pop" and the composition is odd -- look at the ceiling of the room


Too much white space on the right - and seat area underlit for me


The floor is not interesting enough to be given such a prominent part of the image (looks like a yellow p1ss stain on floor too!)


The car is too far to the left and I'm not "getting" the choice of location? The digger bucket looks like a mistake/intrudes into shot imho. Sky is overexposed too.


Car too far to the right but doesn't do much for me either way


Again - the location doesn't suit the car and the nasty bit of white space to the top left is distracting - the railway lines could be used to lead into the car but the background is taking my attention


Colour balance too cold for me, blown out sky and highlights on the car and general composition - plus the building appears to be leaning to the right
