I'm trying to stick some text on a photo in Elements. What I'd like is to have two layers of the same text, the background text white and the foreground text coloured, and for the background to be fractionally bigger than the foreground to create a sort of shadow all around - so that the colour is visible and stands out (the proper background is various colours so it wouldn't normally.
I've tried a simple duplicate layer with the background text slightly bigger but it increases the gaps and the two text layers aren't aligned. That's the only thing I could think of.
Any idea how I'd do this in Elements?
