Auto focus no worky ... camera for the bin?

Hi,

I have a Fuji FinePix S602Z which is now very old.

The auto focus has ceased to work.

My eyesight isn't so good in poor light so I really do need it.

Is the camera toast or could it be repaired / refurbished?

If so, what kind of shop would do this? Jessops is obviously gone and I can't think of a camera local (Aberdeen).

I'm kinda hoping the answer is that there's no hope ... and then I can start choosing a replacement.

Yes, indeed, I was just looking on ebay immediately after I posted ... and you are correct.

It's a shame when you have a bit of kit that's done years of brilliant service ... and then something goes wrong ... and you realise it's pretty much worthless ...

... now, let's try and figure out what the budget is ...
