Triggertrap anyone

I've been using a triggertrap dongle for the last 4 months a great bit of kit for about £25 plus the cost of the paid app.
It's a great bit of kit that enables you to do a lot of great things like HDR star trails timelapse and so on.
You can even do wireless slave now so I connect my ipad to the triggertrap connect to a wifi network and then trigger it from my iphone.

Yep, I have been using it for a while now and was an early adopter of the iPhone dongle.. It is a great bit of kit although some of the upgrades made it a bit temperamental.. They seem more stable now and I haven't had any problems since the last upgrade. Haven't used many of the features though.
Well that looks a very interesting little gadget. it strikes me as potentially a lot more use than going the other way and doing tethered shooting which I keep contemplating but never get round to in anger.
I'd like an App which allows me to sit down in comfort (in an armchair) while selecting and quickly setting up bracketing, time-lapse, video settings and generally remote snappery from up to 100m away in just one package. That would be nice! So, looking at what the Triggertrap does it appears to be the solution?
Has no one else put one through its paces?

The triggertrap is tethered. To make it untethered you will need 2 devices connected to the same wireless connection. So I use my ipad connected to the camera, and my iphone to trigger over the wireless. I also have a wireless dongle so can even use it when out and about.
I have mainly used it for HDR imaging as my camera only does 3 exposures for image bracketing. Triggertrap depending on your start exposure can do up to 19 exposures.
I have also used it for my first ever timelapse and it was so simple to use. And I'm impressed with the result:
