Hello all,

I am after a software to edit my digital camera and GoPro recordings.

I'm not planning on becoming the next Spielberg so something that just allows me to:
- trim and collate
- fade in/out
- add music
- add text

would do.

I've looked at Magix 4HD which seems cheap and simple enough but it always is according to the marketing spiel.

What's your experience?

Thanks

Quicktime has worked fine for me, as has Final Cut, but that's a bit more involved than what I wanted

Are you on Mac or PC? If the former, iMovie is fine. If on a PC I believe the latest Windoze Movie Maker will work with the files the GoPro produces (but you'd have to check that, my old version doesn't). Anyway, they are both part of the OS, so free. And piss easy to use.

Have you tried the GoPro Cineform software?
