My Camera is dead...

Ok, my Sony A-200 DSLR finally gave up the ghost today, so i'm on the hunt for a new camera. I'm not majorly fussed if it is another Sony, although that would allow me to use my 18-55, 75-300 lenses. I have no stipulations other than below:

Max £500
Preferably able to shoot HD movies (Not overly important but a like)

If you don't mind switching badges, Canon 600d is a nice camera in you price bracket. Might even have enough change to get the 55-250 zoom too which, alongside the 18-55 ii lens would be a nice little package.

Is your 70-300 a G lens? If so, trade it.

Edit: apparently not, so probably not worth much

No, it was £160 boggo lens. Still very nice, but i doubt it'll be worth much. I will have a look at the 600d! I think i'll be headed to jessops/currys at 1300hrs to have a recce.

From jessops. Saw the camera and then reserved it from the website to get the online price whilst stop in store.

Amazon have the 600D with the 18-55 lens for £420, or a twin lens kit with the 55-250 and the 18-55 for £600.
