GoPro3 pricing

Do Go Pro ensure their dealers charge the same price for their goods, similar to Apple?
The reason for asking is that my other half bought me for Chrimbo a GoPro3 White edition when she was in America on a business trip. I am quite happy with that model. However as I was about to open it all up today I noticed a price tag on the box for $399.99 which seems to suggest thats the price of the Black edition. I doubt very much a dealer would charge that for the white edition so I guess at the risk of upsetting her I will need to find out how much she paid. If she did pay $399.99 then I will need to work out how to get the dealer to supply me with the Black edition. Luckily I havent broken any of the seals on the box

I'm subscribed to go pro and they emailed out a £100 off voucher code just before Xmas , making the silver £179 and the black £279. The same offer in the US was a hundred dollars off

I should imagine it will be a struggle to swap the kit now from a UK dealer, maybe better posting it back to the states?

Yes if the worst comes to the worst I ma expecting to revert to dealer in US and do an exchange (though may write to GoPro customer services to see if they can arrange anything)
