Blurb - Which paper?

Which paper do you guys select for photo books from Blurb?

I tried one with 'Pro Line Uncoated' and to be honest I'm not blown away with it. The page weight is nice, but it's a bit rough - feels like the details are 'soaking' into the page.


Any recommendations?

Coated paper is the best for this - it's much closer to real photo paper which I guess is what you're looking for. The details do literally soak into the page to an extent, which is why coated paper is normally used.

Coated paper is the best for this - it's much closer to real photo paper which I guess is what you're looking for. The details do literally soak into the page to an extent, which is why coated paper is normally used.

Yeah, think the old photo paper feel might be better - does anyone have any recommendations as to which of the Blurb options might be best?

Is the Pro Line that much better than the Premium?

Ordered with 'Premium Lustre' paper:
Well worth going for, the result I was hoping. Glossy pages, detail really stands out, nice heavy-weight feel.
