I just saw this and thought you guys might be interested in checking it out

"The Ghosts of World War II: The photographs found at flea markets superimposed on to modern street scenes"

A historical expert called Jo Teeuwisse has taken a load of pictures found at a flea market taken during and depicting scenes of World War II and has superimposed them on modern versions of the same scenes. The result is an exceptional collection of images in my opinion.

Apologies for the Daily Wail link but for once it's worth clicking.

Brilliant and very clever idea to blend the images that way. I've always fancied doing a then and now project around WW2 locations but time and money never seem to work out.

Don't think this is new. Wasn't this done a couple of years ago with Russians marching down various streets..
